Since 2001, Uptown Recording has continued to advance both technologically as well as diversifying and becoming a world-class studio. Both Studio East and West feature the newest Pro Tools HD Software/Hardware, fully integrated control surfaces with the best A/D converters in the industry. Studio West also features a complete post production facility, with 5.1 surround sound ability.

Uptown is proud to have recorded the music for the smash musical now playing called "Buddy" (The Buddy Holly Story).  It's currently playing downtown.   If you like musicals, this one is a must see. Visit Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower Place, 175 E. Chestnut Street Chicago, IL 60611.  Following its sold out run at Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace, the production runs through November 2nd.

Recording samples have been updated. Our recording samples have always included the more recent bands we've had in.  Uptown also does production in all styles of urban music.
